Five
hours, but not difficult, 6 km. from Nerja,
on the eastern end of the Costa
del Sol, is the starting point. Frigiliana is one
of the prettiest villages of southern Spain. To the north
take a path through the Sierra
de Almijara, under the famous Navachica (1.832 m.)
and Lucero (1.771 m.) peaks. The descent towards the village
of Competa, known for its excellent wines, offers sensational
views of the Axarquía region and its subtropical
coast.
Son
cinco horas pero sin dificultad. A 6 km. de Nerja,
en el extromo oriental de la Costa
del Sol, está la salida. Frigiliana es uno
de los pueblos más bonitos del sur de España.
Al norte de éste se toma un sendero que sicurre
por la Sierra
de Almijara, bajo los célebres picos de Navachica
(1.832 m.) y Lucero (1.771 m.). El descenso hacia el pueblo
de Cómpeta, conocido por sus excelentes vinos,
ofrece sensacionales perspectivas de la comarca de la
Axarquía y su costa subtropical.
